Backflow Inspection
Our objective is to keep your drinking water safe. We provide a conveniently scheduled backflow inspection service offered at a discounted rate to our clients during the "Spring Start-Up Service." We are fully licensed by the New England Water Works Association (NEWWA) and the State of New Jersey to perform these Inspections. NEWWA Lic. #10425. We pride ourselves on educating you, the water customer, on how to reduce the risk of inadvertently contaminating your private or the public water supply.
Mid-Season Inspection
For an additional charge during July, August, and September, the system can be re-inspected and adjusted. We inspect the mainline for pressure loss and leaks. The system will be inspected on a zone-zone basis for proper operation, and the controller will be tested for proper performance and programmed for summer run times based upon your lawn and landscape needs. Any necessary repairs or alterations can be performed at an additional charge after consultation with the client.
Repairs/Troubleshooting
Throughout the season, repairs are just a phone call away. We can handle all your landscape irrigation (sprinkler system) needs. This includes ball valves, controllers, wiring, rain sensors, electronic valves, and damaged piping. We can also help advise you on pressure and hydraulic problems as well. Planning a project (sidewalks, patio, driveway, or addition) involves possible damage to your sprinkler system. Save money by calling ahead for a consultation on preventing or limiting the damage before construction begins.
Winterizing Service
Once, the Irrigation Water Main has been closed for the season. The sprinkler systems Manifold and lateral lines will be purged of water using a high volume air compressor. The controller should be unplugged or set to the off position during the winter months. All systems should be equipped with an outside (safety) drain to prevent water from accumulating in the sprinkler system if the main valve fails. If this valve drips, it's a clear indication that the inside valve to the sprinkler system is not working correctly and needs to be replaced to prevent additional damage.
